Description In October 1999, Laurel Networks was founded to achieve an ambitious goal: To lead routing into the next generation with edge routing solutions that maximize the IP/MPLS infrastructure by enabling high-value IP services.
Laurel's co-founders have decades of experience developing and delivering carrier-class networking solutions that are currently in use in the world's largest service provider networks. Products designed by the Laurel team have already evolved service provider networks by introducing traffic engineering and scaling network backbones to unprecedented capacity.
Laurel takes the term carrier-class very seriously and engineers its products with rigorous quality control measures. This extensive process starts with the knowledge of IP routing, carrier-class system development and networking protocols required to produce hardware and software for service providers. It continues with stringent development practices and extensive testing. It finishes with continued customer interaction and a standardized feedback procedure - resulting in products that are ready for deployment in the world's largest service provider networks. |
